Can we come directly without prior booking ?

Accepted Answer

I strongly advise against it. Our office is reserved for administration and payments, and opening hours may vary depending on appointments. Don't expect to find boats docked waiting for random customers either. We are too far from tourist areas to expect clients to visit us spontaneously.

All tours must be booked online in advance so that we can check availability.

The boat departure point is located at a temple pier, just a 5-minute walk from the meeting point.

⚠️ For boat tours without a guide, you may sometimes be asked to meet the boatman directly at the departure point.

Where is the departure point ?

All our boat tours start either at Wat Kamphaeng Bang Waek Pier or at Wat Thong Bang Chueak Nang Pier.
Both temples are located just a 5-minute walk from our office.

How far the meeting point is from my hotel ?

Can we change the departure / arrival point ?

Accepted Answer

No ❌ For logistical, technical and safety reasons, the departure and arrival points are fixed and cannot be changed.

We do not provide hotel pick-up or drop-off, nor departures or arrivals along the Chao Phraya River or at any other location outside of the designated meeting and departure points.

All tours start and end at the locations listed on our website, carefully selected to match the boats and routes we operate.

Question 6

Do you provide transportation to / from the meeting point (boat or car) ?

We do not offer transportation services (neither by canal nor by road) : I advise you to use Grab or Bolt 🚖

Question 7

Can we park our vehicle near the starting point ?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can park your vehicle in the temple parking lot, inside which is the pier - except on 👉 public holiday.

What time does the tour start ?

Accepted Answer

On weekdays : 
🇬🇧 the English-language guided cruise CLASSIC ADVENTURE starts at 10am
If you book a private tour, it's possible to start at 9am, just let us know

On weekends : 
🇬🇧 the English-language guided cruise FLOATING MARKET TRIP starts at 9am 
🇫🇷 the French-language guided cruise FLOATING MARKET TRIP starts at 10am 
If both tours are already full, I may be able to organize another tour in English at 11am

❌ We don't offer afternoon guided tours.

For boat tours without a guide, you can choose your departure time between 8am and 3pm30 (subject to availability).

⚠️ Please note that night falls at 6pm and boatmen must return home before it gets completely dark, for obvious safety reasons.

How early should we arrive at the meeting point ?

From our organizational standpoint, it's not particularly necessary to arrive more than 10 minutes early 😎 up to you

What happens if we are late ?

If you are late and do not call us, we can wait a maximum of 30 minutes ⏱️ I will give you my number in the confirmation email

Please do the same for us 🙏 if previous customers arrive late, it may delay the next departure

If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, we reserve the right to end the tour at the originally scheduled time if we have a booking after yours or if night falls (6pm) ⚠️ and the price will not be reduced

Question 11

Can you store our luggage during the tour ?

We do not offer luggage storage : you can put your luggage on the boat if needed  🧳 for private tours only + provided there are no more than 5 of you

Does the tour run if it rains ?

Accepted Answer

For our part, the tour will be maintained even in case of light rain ☔️ showers rarely last long + just because it's raining in your neighborhood doesn't mean it's raining in ours + the boat is covered + we have ponchos and umbrellas

What payment methods do you accept ?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash, QR code payments (Thai accounts only), and domestic bank transfers within Thailand.

For international payments, Wise is the only transfer method available.

Credit card payment is not available at this time.

Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

Question 14

Can you give us a discount ?

Accepted Answer

Our prices are non-negotiable ❌ any attempt at bargaining will be interpreted as a refusal
